Roma Fountains Map Mini Design Award 2008
Winner

For more than two thousand years fountains have provided drinking water and decorated the piazzas of Rome. From this thought I came up with the idea of printing a map of Rome on a soft, multi-layer package so it can be double as a water flask. The map is distributed empty, and therefore two-dimensional, at various information hubs throughout the city during hot summer. By indicating all the public fountains in the center, it also promotes the use of public drinking water over plastic bottle.
